Overview
This role combines three interconnected areas of responsibility: Coordination of Gaia-X National Hubs; Membership development and stakeholder engagement; Functional and technical analysis of Hub-related initiatives. You will support the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) in strengthening Gaia-X’s network of national communities, aligning strategic priorities, driving membership growth, and translating national-level initiatives into actionable insights within the Gaia-X framework.

- Onsite and/or remote; if fully remote, occasional presence in Brussels’ HQ
Key Responsibilities
- National Hubs Coordination
- Support the CSO in coordinating the Gaia-X Hubs network and their national communities.
- Manage the Hubs Sounding Board (SB), including meeting organisation, agenda setting, and follow-ups.
- Foster collaboration between national Hubs and the Gaia-X AISBL, ensuring alignment on strategic priorities.
- Build strong working relationships with Hub coordinators, maintaining regular contact and conducting health-check calls.
- Lead the planning and coordination of cross-Hub initiatives, including collaborative meetings, executive summaries, and action tracking.
- Oversee governance aspects of the Hubs network: update Hub agreements, maintain the Hubs handbook, support self-evaluation processes.
- Contribute to DSBC Steering Board and Sounding Board meetings as needed.
- Support the preparation and execution of DSBC-related workshops and collaborative events.
- Membership Development & Stakeholder Engagement
- Promote the value of Gaia-X membership through coordinated marketing and awareness campaigns across the Hubs network.
- Assist Hubs in ecosystem analysis to identify relevant stakeholders and potential members.
- Develop and execute strategies to increase Gaia-X AISBL membership, with emphasis on acquisition and retention.
- Translate stakeholder needs into clear messaging aligned with Gaia-X deliverables.
- Collaborate with internal teams focused on member engagement and value delivery.
- Functional Analysis & Scouting
- Respond to functional requests from Hubs, performing initial assessments and documenting requirements.
- Map these requirements to Gaia-X deliverables, liaising with internal teams where necessary.
- Analyse methodologies, technologies, and processes used by national-level data initiatives.
- Identify common patterns and connect them to Gaia-X’s architecture and deliverables.
- Draft detailed functional documentation (specifications, diagrams, process flows, models) and validate against real project needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in stakeholder management and community development in technology-driven environments.
- Proven experience (min. 2 years) in sales, presales, or stakeholder-facing roles within the IT or digital services sector.
- Project coordination and knowledge management experience, including meeting facilitation and documentation.
- Familiarity with marketing and promotional activities in an IT environment is an asset.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical insights.
- Experience (min. 1 year) in functional analysis or business modelling in SaaS, platforms, or IT architecture.
- Understanding of business modelling methodologies (e.g. Business Model Canvas); knowledge of Data Governance frameworks is a plus.
