The Gaia-X Academy has been established to provide accessible education on the Gaia-X initiative, welcoming both members and non-members. Our courses cater to diverse expertise levels, offering foundational knowledge as well as in-depth technical insights.
The courses span from the basic understanding of Gaia-X to advanced levels, covering aspects such as the data economy, framework structure, and technical components. Participants will gain the ability to lead related initiatives and develop the necessary technical competence to support Gaia-X adoption. Additionally, the academy offers a detailed analysis of Gaia-X architecture, enabling participants to design compliant solutions and support business outcomes effectively.

00. Gaia-X Genesis
The aim of this introduction lesson is not to give you the story of the creation of Gaia-X, but more to give you some clues to better understand why Gaia-X has been created.
This non-technical course includes the following materials:

1. Gaia-X Fundamentals
This module explains the concept and core values of Gaia-X, its organisation, and governance model. It will give you an overview of what we do and who we are, the scope and deliverables.

2. Gaia-X Trust Framework Overview
This course gives an overview about Gaia-X Trust Framework, where does it come from and what is it for.
3. Gaia-X Trust Framework Technical Focus
This course gives technical details about the Gaia-X Trust Framework. It will thus explain the technologies and standards used, and also how the Gaia-X components involved in the Gaia-X Compliance are working.
4. Catalogue Browsing Overview
This course gives an overview of Catalogue browsing in a Gaia-X Context.
5. Catalogue Browsing Technical Focus
This course gives technical details about Catalogue Browsing in a Gaia-X Context. It will thus explain the technologies and standards used, and also describes how the Gaia-X Credential Event Services and the Gaia-X trust indexes are working.
6. Contracts and Policy Reasoning Overview
This module explains the concept and core values of Gaia-X, its organisation, and governance model. It will give you an overview of what we do and who we are, the scope and deliverables.
7. Policy Reasoning Technical Focus
This course is giving technical details about Policy Reasoning in a Gaia-X Context. It will thus explain the technologies and standards used, and also describes how the Gaia-X Policy Reasoning Engine is working and also have a presentation about the way Gaia-X Wizard is using it.
08. How to deploy a Gaia-X Digital Clearing House
This course aims at giving you the steps to follow in order to deploy a Gaia-X Digital Clearing House. The lesson will start with information on some prerequisites, such as Kubernetes and Helm. Then, you will get an extensive description of the actions required to deploy all the technical components involved in a Gaia-X Digital Clearing House.
9. Gaia-X Certificates – Functional Knowledge Level 1
This course aims to validate your level regarding Gaia-X Functional knowledge. You will thus go through different quizzes dealing with Gaia-X Trust Framework, Catalogue Browsing, and also Policy Reasoning, only on a functional point of view. These evaluations represent 50% of the final score. A use case will then be studied, representing the other half of the final score. If you reach at least 80% of correct answers, you will be rewarded a Gaia-X Certificate, proof of your level in the concepts involved in the Gaia-X world. A Gaia-X Certificate is issued for one year.

10. Gaia-X Changelogs – From Tagus to Loire
