We are thrilled to announce that Catherine Simonnin will take up the role of Gaia-X Evangelist.
Who is Catherine?
Catherine Simonnin has been working in the IT architecture domain for the last 19 years in different domains and entities of Orange. She has always been looking for new technology challenges and innovative solutions even in the management domain. With her master’s from Telecom Paris, she started working on Intelligent Network development in the first generation of GSM in SFR, then on telecom services for Equant customers.
Catherine is nowadays a Tech Lead Trust & Innovation Governance at Orange.
Highly involved in Gaia-X, she plays a key role in the Gaia-X Policy Rules Committee, where she leads the Conformity and Label Operationalisation sprint, helping to shape the future of Gaia-X, but also participating in Gaia-X Events as a speaker.
What is the Gaia-X Evangelist Programme?
The Gaia-X Evangelist Programme is designed to empower passionate individuals who are eager to share their knowledge and enthusiasm about Gaia-X’s mission and vision with the broader community. Evangelists are enthusiastic supporters who spread the word, build community, and help drive engagement and growth. They play a crucial role in expanding the reach of Gaia-X’s message, fostering innovation, and driving the adoption of Gaia-X solutions.
Evangelists promote Gaia-X by promulgating its trust framework and implementation through social media, blogs, podcasts, and events. They also educate others by hosting or participating in workshops, webinars, meetups, and conferences. Additionally, they contribute by providing feedback and suggestions to improve Gaia-X specifications and implementations.
