At the Gaia-X Summit 2025 in Porto, the AISBL was proud to announce the launch of a new Gaia-X Hub in Canada in association with Digital Trust Canada (DTC). This week, CEO Ulrich Ahle also inaugurated Gaia-X Hub Korea, marking another significant step in strengthening international collaboration on data sovereignty, interoperability, and trusted digital ecosystems across borders.
Welcoming Canada into the Gaia-X community recognises its pivotal role in advancing digital trust and data governance. The new Hub will help advance open, secure, and interoperable data spaces while strengthening collaboration across sectors. Likewise, the launch of Gaia-X Hub Korea deepens Europe–Asia cooperation on sovereign, trusted digital infrastructures. Korea’s strong innovation ecosystem makes it a key partner in driving Gaia-X’s vision for a secure and trustworthy digital future.
We’re thrilled to be expanding our network of Gaia-X Hubs worldwide, strengthening our shared commitment to transparent, secure, and interoperable digital ecosystems. With Canada and Korea now part of the global Gaia-X community, we look forward to developing common standards, and advancing a future where data can flow freely, safely, and with full sovereignty.
