Gaia-X participated in the 8th Plenary Session of the Gaia-X Hub France, held on 9 April 2026, at the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance in Paris, bringing together around 200 participants from across industry, public institutions, and the European ecosystem.
The session focused on key challenges, including the operational use of AI by industry, the development of trusted data spaces, and the emergence of European data ecosystems. Discussions also addressed data intermediation, interoperability, and France’s positioning within the cloud and AI value chain.
Gaia-X CEO Ulrich Ahle contributed to the plenary with an update on Gaia-X, presenting current developments and the roadmap for “Season 2,” including the deployment of Gaia-X labels.
The event also highlighted the availability of Gaia-X Label Level 3 services, including those delivered by OVHCloud, Cloud Temple, and Thésée Datacenter.
Gaia-X thanks the Gaia-X Hub France and all participants for their contributions to the discussions and ongoing work on data spaces.
A recording of the plenary will be available in the coming days on the Gaia-X Hub France YouTube channel. Stay tuned to watch or revisit the session.
