Congratulations to Flex4Res and Infra DS on becoming Gaia-X Lighthouse Projects!
Flex4Res – Data spaces for FLEXible production lines and supply chains FOR RESilient manufacturing – is a Horizon Europe co-funded project that aims to enhance the resilience of European manufacturing and supply chains through secure, interoperable, and federated data-sharing frameworks. Flex4Res is building an open platform based on the Gaia-X framework and the International Data Space Reference Architecture Model (IDS-RAM), enhanced with Asset Administration Shell (AAS) technology. Central to this platform are two toolboxes: one for resilience assessment, enabling industries to evaluate and enhance their ability to withstand disruptions, and another focused on supporting dynamic reconfiguration of production and supply chains to maintain operational efficiency and flexibility.
Infrastructures Data Space (InfraDS), aims to create an open and interoperable digital infrastructure ecosystem, ensuring compliance with Gaia-X, the Data Act, and European sovereignty principles. The project adopts multi-cloud interoperability, allowing organisations to compare, select, and integrate cloud infrastructure services seamlessly. InfraDS is a scalable, decentralised data-sharing solution designed for multiple industries, ensuring trust and security through Gaia-X certification. By 2025, it aims to establish a pan-European reference ecosystem with 30+ cloud service providers offering Gaia-X-labels.
