Pierre Gronlier Appointed as new Gaia-X’s New Chief Innovation Officer

Today, 24 May 2024, the Gaia-X Board of Directors appointed Pierre Gronlier, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), as the new Chief Innovation Officer of the Gaia-X AISBL.

As Chief Innovation Officer, Pierre will work closely with the association’s Executive team and Board of Directors to define and implement the association’s innovation vision. He will plan, develop, and be accountable for the association’s innovation roadmap, ensuring alignment with its contributors.

Collaborating with the executive team, Pierre will ensure a unified vision and mission, mentoring and interacting with staff and volunteers at all levels to foster growth and encourage open innovation. He will effectively communicate the innovation vision and objectives of the association to establish trust and credibility with members, funders, policymakers, industry stakeholders, and partners.

Additionally, the new Chief Innovation Officer will ensure compliance with relevant regulations, Gaia-X strategy, and the directives of the Business, Policy Rules, and Technical Committees. This role requires close collaboration with the management team, including the Chief Technology Officer.

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) position is currently open for applications on the Gaia-X website. Pierre Gronlier will assume the role on an interim basis until a new CTO is appointed.
