The AISBL has released the Gaia-X User Guide, a comprehensive step-by-step walkthrough to understand the context of the initiative and how to engage with the Gaia-X Trust Framework. It serves as a practical companion for those starting to embark on the Gaia-X journey, as well as those wanting to understand how it can already help their projects. Â
This guide translates the richness of the Gaia-X documentation (its architecture, definition of compliance, identity and credential management, and more) into a structured narrative providing a functional viewpoint to the Gaia-X universe. It progressively presents the initiative, its value proposition, its main product (the Trust Framework), how this works and creates value (i.e. by federating trust), its delivery model, and practical examples where it is already generating tangible outcomes. Together, these chapters form a connected narrative—from the problem space to the solution space, from concept to implementation, from assuring trust to value creation.Â
The User Guide thus invites each reader —policymaker, business leader, orchestrator, service provider, service consumer, data architect, IT developer or ecosystem operator— to find their own journey alongside the Gaia-X ecosystem, and using the readily available tools to build their path to digital success.Â
Furthermore, it also links specific Gaia-X Academy courses, for those interested in learning more as well as following a certification path (and its associated benefits).Â
