Congratulations to AgrospAI on recently becoming a Gaia-X Lighthouse Data Space.
AgrospAI is a data space demonstrator supporting agri-food sector stakeholders in alignment with the future Common European Agricultural Data Space (CEADS), promoting transparency, equity, and sustainability through structured governance and secure data sharing. Participants include farmers, service providers, and ecosystem operators, with roles spanning data production, analytics, and computing services. Key features include compute-to-data technology for data sovereignty and a cloud-based “data room” for AI-driven processing while maintaining control. Or a monetisation mechanism using a digital Euro and distributed ledger technology that enables traceable transactions. AgrospAI adheres to FAIR principles, leveraging semantic technologies and ontologies for metadata tagging and interoperability. The Spanish Ministry of Digital Transformation funds AgrospAI under the Sectorial Data Spaces call, TSI-100120-2024-28.
