MicelioData joins Gaia-X, advancing traceable and sustainable textile supply chains

Gaia-X AISBL is pleased to welcome MicelioData, a global digital infrastructure company for the textile industry, as a new member of our association.

MicelioData is building the first data space tailored specifically for the textile industry, connecting Asian manufacturers with European brands while ensuring full data sovereignty for all participants. Their platform enables brands and manufacturers to collect, normalise, and verify product data, supporting compliance with the European Union’s Digital Product Passport (DPP) regulations and improving traceability, sourcing, recycling, and operational efficiency across the textile supply chain.

Ulrich Ahle, CEO of Gaia-X, commented: “We warmly welcome MicelioData to the Gaia-X community. Their work in creating reliable, interoperable, and transparent data spaces for the textile industry exemplifies the kind of innovation that strengthens global collaboration.”

Nihan Siriklioglu, COO of MicelioData, said: “We are thrilled to join the Gaia-X community. At MicelioData, we are building the first textile-specific data space — connecting Asian manufacturers with European brands while ensuring full data sovereignty for every participant. Gaia-X principles are foundational to our vision: a single source of truth for the entire textile supply chain, enabling use cases from DPP compliance and customs verification to sourcing, traceability, and recycling. This is how textile supply chains achieve operational efficiency with verified and compiled data.”
